Providing students with the technical, professional, and/or language skills for careers in the twenty-first century workplace.
My mission at DPT Business School is complete. The fifteen-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before is now complete--time to update my resume!

For the last sixteen years, I have been teaching a wide variety of business classes in Philadelphia, and now I wish to continue in the education field or the accounting field in New Jersey.

My résumé highlights my development as an instructor as well as my career in other business positions. After earning my accounting degree, I became familiar with a wide range of companies in service, banking, and retail.  In order to follow my passion for accounting, I continued to earn my teaching certification in accounting and business.  As part of my certification, I maintained a high GPA while updating my business courses as well as taking my teaching courses.

While at DPT Business School, I was involved with our accounting program and much of the school’s business courses.  I also helped other instructors and assisted with other departments.  To stay current with information and technology, I had to constantly research information and stay up-to-date with my knowledge and skills in order to give our students the best education possible.  Because of our diverse population, I developed excellent interpersonal skills as I worked with all students and staff.  I have been recognized for my high work quality, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.

I’m now looking forward to continuing in an education environment as I explore new opportunities and challenges.

Mr. Scott Nelson
The Qwerty Tea Shops are now open. In order to reduce the excess inventory of items that I've collected over the years, I’ve established a seller’s account on eBay. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be listing some items that you can bid on. I’m starting with a few paperback books.

I've also created an account at Café Press to design and sell some T shirts.

Finally, as the weather gets warmer, I’m planning several yard sales during the months of June, July, August, and/or September. I’ve started to organize some of the larger items that I want to sell during the yard sales.

Click on the links below to see some of the items for sale.

In October of 2012, went to a street fair while enjoying the nice weather that we had during the last weekend. As you can see, there was lots of great food.
On October 22, 2012, the UCI, the international cycling governing body, has declared that I am now tied with Lance Armstrong for the number of Tour de France titles. Plus, my bikes are cooler looking!
Made three trips to Cape Cod in 2012. I even went kayaking.
From April to October, had to get ice cream at Bellvale Farms in New York. I had a difficult time finding it. No thanks to my GPS or Google Maps.
Can't get enough of Iced Coffee!
As soon as we arrived in Lancaster, my first stop was to find shoo fly pie.
Arriving at Orlando Airport (MCO).

Watched the sunrise on Christmas morning at Daytona Beach. We also fed the sea gulls, walked the beach, and ate some great seafood at Joe's Crab Shack on the pier.
Went to Orlando for a few days. Went to Downtown Disney and EPCOT Center on the two coldest days of the year.
North Jersey was really hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Most places were flooded and/or lost electrical power. A few days later, gasoline was difficult to get. The odd/even gas rationing helped. I remember gas rationing during the late 1970s. Here I am repairing some shingles on the roof.
